Funeral services for Gladys Frosch, 81 of Lincoln, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln with Rev. Dale Bohm officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, July 13, 2012 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Frosch passed away the afternoon of Monday, July 9, 2012 in Georgetown, Texas.

Gladys Boriack Frosch was born on March 29, 1931 in Lincoln, Texas to Paul & Irene (Umlang) Boriack. She was baptized on April 5, 1931 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln by Rev. R. Osthoff and united in marriage to Leroy Frosch on June 10, 1950 by Rev. H.A. Stroebel at St. John Lutheran Church. Gladys was a hairdresser and owned and operated Harold's Hair Fashions in Houston for several years. She retired as a salesperson for PCA International in Houston in 1986 and moved back to the family farm in Lincoln. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln where she had been a member of the Ladies Aid and also volunteered with the Lutheran Braille Workers. Gladys had enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul & Irene Boriack; her husband of 58 years, Leroy; her son, Paul Frosch and two sisters, Mildred Fischer and Norma Sanders.

Gladys is survived by her four sons, Rodney Frosch of Houston, Bryan Frosch & his wife, Brenda of Spring, Kenneth Frosch of Lincoln and Dana Frosch of Pearland; two daughters, Cindy Estes & her husband, Tom of Florence and Terisa Frosch of Humble; grandson, Adam Estes & his wife, Ashley of Andrews; granddaughters, Teri Champlin & her husband, Billy of Killeen, Jennifer Frosch of Bedias and Anna Frosch of Spring; great grandchildren, Bailey, Paige, & Aiden Champlin of Killeen, Kylie King of Andrews, Lanie Estes of Andrews and Samantha Frosch of Bedias; sister, Elinor Fischer of Houston as well as numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eugene Fischer, Clayton Fischer, Stanley Fischer, Mario Garza, Michael Frosch and Douglas Frosch. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her nephews.
